Save roaming costs

From now on, you can phone from foreign countries and save roaming costs if you use the callback-service from a fixed line or a local handy. As an alternative, you can use our web phone at any time when you are abroad.

Requirements for saving roaming costs:

• local mobile phone (for Exapmle a prepaid-card or a contract for a mobile phone in the corresponding country)
• fixed line telephone
• dial-in via the webfon
• Einwahl über SIP-Zugang (z.B. die telmy Apps) im WLAN

If you call via the web phone, you will only have to pay costs for guiding the relevant target country.
Example: If you call the German landline network using the web phone from Spain, you will only have to pay the German tariff, telmy/web phone section. You can find a cost example for the callback procedure further down the page.

On Dial-in via the mobile phone or a fixed-line phone, the number has to be registered in 'my numbers' in your telmy-account. This is needed to assign the number to your account.

Saving roaming costs in foreign countries via callback — this is how it works.

Example: From Greece (mobile) to germany (fixed line)

• You travel to Greece and purchase a prepaid-card in this country. You add this number to your dial-in numbers. Next, you call the PING callback-number (+49 69 96 75 4444) in Germany.
  
  Caution! If you are using a German network operator mobile phone it is possible that roaming costs will arise.
  
  Note: If you dial the '00' as a prefix instead of +, we would like to advise you that the international access code is dependent on which country you are currently in. '00' is normal in most European countries. You can also enter '+' directly in all GSM networks the world over instead of the numerical sequence.
  
  Other international access codes are, for example:
  • USA and Canada: '011'
  • Australia: '0011'
  • Cuba: '119'
  • Lithuania, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldavia, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan: '810'
  • Russia: '8xx' (the xx stands for a numerical sequence which the network operator selects)
  • Singapur: '0xx' (the xx stands for a numerical sequence which the call-by-call operator selects)
  Example: From the USA, you dial 011 49 69 22 77 94 86 to select the PING callback number.
• After a short message we disconnect the call which you will not be charged for.

• Now, you'll called back from our System.

• After the callback you enter the phone number of the desired conversation partner. Now, you are calling via the telmy network.

• The total costs on a callback call results in the tariffs from the two connected countries.

Callback incl. speed-dial numbers

You can use your telephone directory from foreign countries also. For do so, please dial +49 69 96 75 4444 + the shortdial number of the corresponding entry from your telephone directory. Please enter the speed dial just behind the dial-in number (without the plus sign)

For Example: +49 69 96 75 4444 + 12

You receive a callback on the line you have called from. Then you'll be connected to the participant of the speed-dial number without to have to enter the complete destination number.
